Security Change Agents recognized by industry’s top thought leaders

Digital Guardian, the only security solution to protect data from insider and outsider threats with a single endpoint agent, today announced the inaugural list of Security Change Agents as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The 2014 Security Change Agents are being recognized as the individuals, organizations and events that have made significant impact on and changed our views of the information security industry.

“History has been marked by change agents; individuals and institutions that have taken action, despite huge obstacles, to achieve great things or events that simply compel us to change the way we think and act,” said Connie Stack, chief marketing officer, Digital Guardian. “The IT security space has seen a great deal of change in the past 20 years, and we are pleased to present the key agents of that change as chosen by some of the top thought leaders in our industry.”

The 2014 Security Change Agents were nominated by a diverse group of industry experts for catalyzing change in the security industry. The list includes industry analysts, renowned authors, journalists, CISOs and business leaders. Nominators include Dan Geer, Paul Roberts, Chris Wysopal, Bob Bragdon, Jesper Jurcenoks and Richard Bell. Following is a sample of the 2014 Security Change Agents:
