RSA attendees will get to see the latest in the rapidly-evolving data protection space when Verdasys showcases Digital Guardian, its advanced data protection for endpoints platform, during the 2014 RSA Conference from February 24-28 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Verdasys will be located in Booth #727 in the South Hall.
Verdasys has long been recognized as a leader in the traditional data loss prevention (DLP) market by analysts and customers alike having protected data from malicious and well-meaning insiders for over 10 years. But the threat landscape has changed and organizations must now protect data from outside attackers too. Leveraging the advantage of running in the kernel of the operating system of nearly two million endpoints, Digital Guardian logs and controls literally any action on the system and has successfully detected and prevented malicious data theft committed by technically skilled insiders as well as by advanced malware.
"The endpoint security space is sizzling hot right now,” says Connie Stack, CMO of Verdasys. “We are finally accepting the fact that malware is growing unabated and relying on rack-mountable network solutions is simply not a satisfactory data defense. Witness the recent acquisitions of Mandiant and Cyvera by FireEye and Palo Alto as clear evidence of that. Data is at greatest risk when it’s at the endpoint, when employees, partners and customers are interacting with it. Digital Guardian is the only data-centric security solution for endpoints that exists today. We don’t care if the risk is posed by an insider or advanced malware, we see it and stop your data from leaving your organization.”
In addition to Digital Guardian product demonstrations, Verdasys will host IT security expert and Verdasys customer David Guretz in the booth. Mr. Guretz will be sharing his experiences using Digital Guardian and other data and network security solutions. Verdasys will also give away up to $15,000 in cash to booth visitors during the event.
Verdasys is at RSA 2014 Booth #727, South Hall.
