WHAT IS CUE?
Digital Guardian values input from our customers and we want to keep you informed of the latest developments with our data protection platform and business overall – DG’s Community & User Event (CUE) provides us the opportunity to do that. Every year you help us select a great location where we gather to share experiences about using Digital Guardian to support and optimize industry leading data security programs. In addition, we offer content not-specific to Digital Guardian, but of interest to all security professionals via special guests, panels and keynote speakers. Also, in addition this year we’re adding other value opportunities. Live product training courses have been included that can be added on to your event registration.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
DG CUE offers you the one opportunity to network with your security industry peers and other DG platform users live and in person. While the sessions will be designed to extend your knowledge of DG and infosec in general, the opportunity to meet with other DG users to swap stories and learn from one another is invaluable. Specific to this year, because the event is in Digital Guardian’s headquarters backyard, we have the opportunity for more of the DG team to participate. Meet engineers, developers, the support team, services and more.

Welcome & Business Update
Ken Levine, President & CEO
Digital Guardian is in the midst of another business transition – our move to the cloud. In his opening remarks, Ken will provide an update on that transition from a business and product perspective. It’s an exciting time as leveraging the new DG Cloud, its big data backend and brand new cloud-based UI allows us to address a wider set of data protection use cases. From DLP to EDR and UEBA, we can help our customers improve their overall security posture with our new, cloud-based DG Data Protection Platform.
Digital Guardian Announces Behavioral Analytics and Introduces New Product Capability
David Karp, Chief Product Officer
At DG CUE 2017, Dave introduced the new DG Cloud Platform, the only security solution to deliver what we call Threat Aware Data Protection (TADP). The move to the cloud has resulted in a positive response from our customer base and garnered industry recognition as DG was named a leader in the Forrester EDR Wave. DG is following up this performance with the release of behavioral analytics to offer you a superior platform to identify and manage risk to your sensitive data. David will extend the discussion to our overall product strategy and how it will manifest itself in our near and long-term platform roadmap. Ultimately, this session will help you understand enhancements to the product architecture, introduce new capabilities and help you prepare to increase the value you receive from your Digital Guardian investment.
Customer Success with DG’s Managed Services
Mark Stevens, SVP of Customer Success
To round out the morning keynotes, Mark will discuss the state of global security staffing and how the difficulties in staffing internal teams is compelling many companies to consider outsourced managed services, like DG’s MSP. He will highlight success stories from our Managed Security Program customers including customers who have made the transition from on premise DG deployments to our fully managed, cloud-based solution. The benefits of a managed service will be clear after this session and you can decide if it might be right for your organization.
Customer Case Study: Randstad’s Operation On-Watch: Building a Successful Insider Threat Detection Program
Kenneth ‘KJ’ Johnson, Director, Enterprise Risk and Security for Randstad USA
By nature the backbone of the professional staffing industry is built on trust; for Randstad, one of the world’s largest staffing firms, the ability to protect their clients’ sensitive personally identifiable information, especially from malicious insiders, is critical. This session will explain how Randstad was able to develop and deploy a successful insider threat program by leveraging the Digital Guardian platform which changed the company’s culture around the handling of sensitive information. The discussion will also cover the many benefits our managed service program (MSP) model can offer organizations when it comes to visualizing data movement and blocking threats.
