The Digital Guardian Blog has been publishing daily since August 2014, and today we've released an all new brand name, look and feel with tons of new features aimed at improved reader experience. The Digital Guardian Blog is now DATAINSIDER

After more than two years of publishing and building a reader base of hundreds of thousands of security professionals and enthusiasts, we've decided to give our blog its own name: Data Insider. The blog's new brand reflects our commitment to data protection. From sharing findings from monitoring and securing data across millions of devices worldwide to advising readers on how to protect their own data from new threats, data protection is our focus and passion, and we hope our new blog name reflects that.

New Features

In addition to a new brand name and redesigned look and feel, Data Insider has a multitude of new features built for a better experience when reading, discussing, or sharing articles. Below is a short overview of some of the key new features.

New Data Insider Header and Homepage

Navigating our blog is easier than ever thanks to a new header and homepage. The new header features the new Data Insider logo along with links to our three primary categories (Data Protection, Security News, and Threat Research) as well as our social media channels. The homepage has been updated with a featured posts section that displays the most recent article in addition to three trending articles.

New Comments Section

Join the conversation! The new Comments section now has full discussion thread functionality with comment upvoting and downvoting, reply notifications, integration with Facebook, Twitter, Google + and Disqus, and the ability to sort comments by best or date.

New Author Pages

Get to know our authors better with author pages that now feature headshots, bios, links to social media profiles, and filters to view each author’s content by most commonly covered categories. Author bios now display at the bottom section of each article, too.

Improved Related Articles Section

Find articles tailored to your interests with our improved Related Articles feature’s new look and feel.

Improved Social Sharing

Share articles in just two clicks with improved social sharing buttons and share counters.

New Email Subscribe Feature
