It's always great to get recognition and we were floored when we heard the news.
That's why we couldn’t wait to share: Digital Guardian was named one of the top places to work in the United States this week! The award comes via Energage, an employee engagement company whose Top Workplaces USA program recognizes outstanding companies annually.
As if being named a top place to work in the US wasn't enough, Digital Guardian also earned the Top Workplaces’ Industry Award for Technology.
While the news is exciting, it's even more of an honor considering it comes during a pandemic, with nearly every employee working from home.
“Being named a top place to work in the USA is one of our company’s greatest achievements and to do it during a global pandemic makes me incredibly proud of the entire team,” Mordecai Rosen, our CEO said Friday. “In March 2020 I sent all our employees home and we haven’t been back in the office since. I worried this might result in some employees feeling unsupported and disconnected; instead the entire DG team rolled up their sleeves and engaged with our customers, the business and with their job responsibilities like never before. This award is great validation of all we do to create a great culture and successful company.”
The news is a testament to the employee culture we’ve developed and maintained during these uncertain times. We know that happy employees are the key to Digital Guardian's success and we’re looking forward to living up to this award in the coming year.
If you’re not familiar, Energage calculates its Top Workplaces USA winners annually by looking at anonymous feedback received via a single, five-minute employee engagement survey. Energage announced this year’s winners at a virtual event on January 27.
The award comes a few weeks after we learned that Digital Guardian was named a top place to work in Massachusetts by the Boston Globe's Top Places to Work list. We were thrilled to be on that list and even more excited when we learned we'd placed the highest among cybersecurity companies in the medium-sized business category.
